Our Mission & Vision
The mission of Zion Lutheran Church is to bear witness to God's creative redeeming and sanctifying activity in the world.
Here at Zion, we envision a world where everyone feels loved, valued, and accepted. We strive to create a community where people can come together to worship, learn, and grow in their faith.
Our Community
We are a diverse and welcoming community of believers who come from many walks of life. Whether you are young or old, single or married, or have a different background, we invite you to join our small but loving congregation in worship and fellowship. As an ELCA congregation, we are affirming of people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
We recently became a two-point parish with Lower Coon Valley Lutheran Church. We're excited about what God is doing in our two churches. We are engaged in a pastoral search, but God has been good to provide us with several excellent pastors to fill in during this "between time."
Our Outreach
At Zion Lutheran Church, we believe in taking our faith beyond the walls of our church and into the world. We are involved in a variety of local and global outreach programs, from feeding the hungry to supporting missionaries around the world. As an ELCA congregation, we participate in many denomination-wide ministries as well as local ones such as contributing to local food pantries and Sugar Creek Bible Camp. We want to hear YOUR ideas too!
